Not the greatest weekend I
could've hoped for and definitely the worst weekend of
the season.
Practice-Had decently good pace with old tyres on with a time of 35.6 and in briefing they did say with
new tyres on you would be a minimum of 4 tenths quicker.
Qualifying-Messed up the setup and I was sliding
everywhere and had no grip even though we had fresh
tyres on and ended up finishing 13th with again another
35.6 but if we didn't mess up setup then it could've
been top 3, top 4
Heat-I made lots of positions at the start and then lost a few positions so quite of a lot of battling the whole
race and ending up me finishing 11th
Pre-final-I made up 5 positions on the first la was doing pretty decent fighting for p6 and then I got sent
really wide when someone overtook me and lost 3
positions and I finished 9th
The final-I started 12th but first corner there was a pile
up and somehow there was no red flag or batenburg
and if I avoided that I could've been in the top 3 or top
4 by the first lap and probably could've finished on the
podium again but instead I had to make my way up from 20th and I made 10 positions and finished p10.
Unlucky weekend could've been a lot better but we
move on to Hooton Park which is one of my strongest/best tracks.
