Racing On My Sim

If you didn't know I love Sim Racing. It's decent practice, it's competitive, and good fun. On my Sim I play with an Oculus Rift S VR headset (occasionally play on the TV), I race with the Logitech G920 wheel and pedals, and I've got a realist sim cockpit using my old karting seat for what I sit in.

Sim Games I like to play:

Race Room which is a 2013 free game you can play on PC, it's one of my least favourite but considering it is free with fairly realistic handling and ok graphics it's not too bad.

rFactor 2 really good game 2012 game with realistic handling and decent graphics.

So since I now have ACC and Assetto Corsa I will do a review. So first, Assetto Corsa Competizione is a 2018 game that is constantly improving and has amazing graphics and very realistic handling it also has one of the best crash physics as it's good for tyre pressures and damage physics making it harder to drive if u crash.

Assetto Corsa is a 2014/2015 game that I play a lot it is amazing for modding and has beautiful graphics with mods on. Assetto Corsa is a very popular game and a reason is because of its modding range and availability (if you are going to mod get content manager it is really easy to get and it's for free or you can buy it for extra features and it makes graphics better but search up on YouTube there should be some sort of tutorial about modding) but it's not just good because of that it's also because of realistic handling.

Another game I like to play is Kart Racing Pro because it's another brilliant karting game with very realistic handling to driving a kart but the force feedback on the game isn't very good but you get used to it. Graphics are ok but you could get reshade to make the game look better.

A game I've recently been playing is iRacing which is arguably the best and most realistic sim racing game out there. The handling of FFB, Brakes and Throttle is mind blowing. The graphics are very good for a 2008 made game. Although it's very expensive due to the amazing multiplayer it's worth it.

I do also play F1 23 just for fun it's not really a sim racing game because it's not very realistic it's more arcade rather than a sim but it's fun and mostly enjoyable which I say that because it's very competitive too.

I am looking forward to playing Automobilista 2. I will update this when I get this game and give you a review about them. All of these games are on Steam and all only on PC apart from ACC and Assetto Corsa which is on Console and PC.

Recommendation:

I have now got Assetto Corsa and ACC now so will do a review above. Anyway, rFactor 2 is the best for karting in my opinion because there is a mod for rFactor 2 called KartSim (if you don't have it). The price isn't too bad either, roughly around £60 for rFactor 2 and KartSim combined. If you want to buy this you have to go to their website, I'm putting all of the games down below.
