So the final round at Whilton Mill is now over so here is a review.
Qualifying - Went alright, qualifying originally P6 but promoted to P4 after DSQs
Heat - struggled with straight line speed and there was lots of battling too and I dropped down to P6 and stayed there
Pre final - It was going well, I made up two places by doing a double overtake up to Christmas and got up to P3. But then I got hit hardly in the back and going on top of someone in front which I somehow got a penalty for. I then had to try make way back up but it was difficult as I was getting held up. I was in P7 and made a move for P6 but it was slightly wet on apex and I full locked but couldn't get grip in time and slightly pushed them off track which I once again got a penalty for something I couldn't really control.
Final - It was wet and we were on slicks and I went from
P7 to P1 within 4 laps. I then gapped by 2.5 seconds and then a Battenberg came out and ruined my lead.
On the restart my engine couldn't get up to pace and I dropped almost down to P3. I retook the lead before getting overtaken and my nose cone getting dropped because of it getting stuck in between their tyre and rear bumper. It made me slower in corners because it dragged against the floor and I struggled to retake the lead. I ended up finishing P2 with the fastest lap getting the most points but I should've won. Hadn't it have been for the Battenberg I probably would've won by a big margin.
I can also confirm that I will not be continuing DRS 100s next year as l'm too heavy.
