Shenington RND 1 review.
It wasn't a great weekend but we move.
Qualifying wasn't good at all. I qualified 7th which put me in a really bad position for the heat.
The Heat ok I ended up finishing the 7th again but I had the pace be top 3/4. I messed up the start badly dropping down to 11th but I made my way back up to 7th but couldn't quite close the gap to 6th quick enough.
Pre-Final was good. I had a great start making it up to 4th from 7th I made a mistake later on and dropped one place finishing in 5th.
Final was not great. I had a decent start and most of the race top 5/6 were battling at the front but again I made a mistake losing me time and i dropped from 5th to 6th. I then felt like I got brake tested through the chicane which lost me a lot of time but l'm unsure. That incident lost me the tow to the top 5 and I finished 6th.
Overall pretty bad with some ups and downs but we move on.
