Unlucky day at Little Rissington Last Sunday
Qualifying - I struggled with pace again, going about 3 tenths slower than my practice times. As a result, I qualified 10th, which wasn't ideal and left me feeling disappointed.
Heat - I had a decent start but soon got caught up in a battle for 5th or 6th place. Eventually, I managed to pass, but I was aiming to catch up with the others who were about 2 to 3 seconds ahead. Unfortunately, I was taken out, which spun me around and put me down to dead last. Despite this setback, I fought back and made 2 places, putting me up to 16th.
Prefinal - Once again, I had to come from the back. Starting from 16th, I made a strong push and managed to climb up to 7th place. With just one more lap, I could have potentially finished 5th or 6th, which would have been a great result considering the circumstances.
Final - With all the points tallied up, I was placed 10th again. I had an awful start because someone a few places ahead had a very bad start, holding up a lot of us. This caused me to get stuck in a battle that cost me a significant amount of time. With 5 laps to go, I was running in 8th place, 4.5 seconds behind 7th due to all the battling in the midfield. By the end of the race, I managed to close that gap from 4.5 seconds to 0.7 seconds and was matching the pace of the top 4, despite the constant battling in the midfield. Unluckily, that awful start and the intense battling cost me too much time, and I probably could have been fighting for a top 4 or even top 3 finish.

Now, we move onto Llandow next, which is a track I know fairly well. Last year, I was battling for 1st place there, so I'm looking forward to a better result.
